Sportsmed & Physio Rowville
Today's Chiropractor must complete a 5 year full time double-degree university course, which includes anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiology, neurology, diagnostic sciences, physical examination and Chiropractic technique, followed by fieldwork.
Chiropractors are qualified as primary healthcare professionals. That is, they specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, including spinal and extremity conditions. Chiropractors are trained to diagnose more serious pathology that is outside their scope of practice, and refer to other health care professionals when required.
The chiropractors at Rowville Sports & Spinal Medicine are registered with the Chiropractors Registration Board of Victoria. They are members of the Chiropractors Association of Australia and continually undertake further training to fulfil Continuing Professional Development guidelines.
